It seems like the "real" issue is that we're not getting enough points of contact right now. The spring would ideally solve that.

I think we should test what we have before severely altering the design with springs and stuff.

I agree. Maybe with the struts down a few inches we'll be fine.

Then again, maybe not.

That sounds like a lot of things we do.

Actually, I was thinking regardless of how much the improved struts will help, we'll want shock-absorption, especially after seeing the beating that the C-base took.

Yeah. If anything, that'll be the best "pro" of it. I don't even want to think how hard my design will come down and hit the ground. It won't be pretty....

I'm sorry. I was busy today working with David on getting the Vex bots up and running.

We cut all of the pieces we needed cut and should be able to attach them onto the bot in the next meeting.

However, we'll need to cut and sand some 6 inch 1/2in axles.

We can fix the axel sanding.

I hear you said that the T-chassis might have issues turning. You are probably correct. Tanner said you suggested some omni-type wheels at opposing corners, this would probably help. I also think that if the code is tweaked, it might help also.

We will see.

I would like to see both running on Saturday. We need to move on to mounting the kicker.

I might work on the Inventor model tonight, however I don't know these two measurements in the picture (arrows).

Basically I need to know the hight/width of that little square and also where the wheel holes are.

I think that is all I need, and then I can start playing.

How much progress did Logan's chassis get? Last I saw it had chains and all wheels, which probably means driving tomorrow (yay).

[though that means wiring completely up the other cRIO, which was taken apart - not sure why]
