I was thinking and I was wondering if 3 robots on an alliance would be better than having 2 robots on an alliance, especially for this game.
I am going mainly off the fact that there are 3 starting positions and that this game would definitely be more fun if it was 3 on 3.
Just wondering.

Hm. It would appear to be better with three robots, but I'm not sure if we'd be able to fit six robots on a field plus a ~8in trailer behind it. I don't think we should have too much trouble. It could be a bit tight though....

Well, if everything is 1/3 scale, then the robots and everything will fit. I'm just worried about fitting 3 drive teams on each side.

That would be hard trying to fit 11 people on each side of the field. Hmm. Maybe shift the drivers that control the robots on the middle edge of the field to the opposite side of the field. Maybe?

and give us ref uniforms
not to change the topic, nor be negative, but how will the Vex bots be able to pick up balls and get them into the trailers? I dont think we have enough parts to make efficient bots, but still have high hopes for this.
now back on topic...
i think it would be a smarter move to only have human players on the outposts (sides) instead of all positions normal. It would save space, confusion, and be a little more organized. and concerning "super cells" (if we are doing them), might i suggest that the coaches be the ones allowed to make the toss? just some ideas to consider.

No one said it would be easy. It is the challenge of the game. Though you probably could easily pick up a ball with just three pieces connected together.
That's a interesting idea. It would save a lot of space, but I'm not sure if coaches would like to do that. I do like that idea though a lot better than just having four people per team on a side. Hmmm

what if the human players could use some sort of firing mechanism for the "super cells" then? such as a simple slingshot or something along the line...
