Hi Robolions!
The 2010 FRC season is among us! If you missed the kick-off and wish to see what we are working hard for all these weeks, you can view the game video here:

From here on out, the team will be meeting mainly Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays. As the season moves on, this schedule will fluctuate a bit, so be aware.
We are meeting tomorrow (Thursday - 1/13) from 2:30 PM to 4:30 PM in Rutland's room to continue brainstorming the design of the robot. This will include the general brainstorming of ideas, some prototyping, and the most important of all - drawing of ideas. The new kit of parts cBase chassis will also be assembled to test the functionality of a "extended" wheel support design.
On Saturday we are continuing to work on prototypes and also will begin to build some field elements, so some parents will be needed to help gather materials and aid in construction. Specifically we need parents to help build the bump and tunnel on the field out of plywood which will require the use of a table saw, a nail gun, and wood glue. If these objects sound confusing, see the link about the game video at the beginning of this email. Your help is needed!
Also, open house is tomorrow night, so don't forget to show your parents your classes!
Cheers
