Getting over the Bump

Hi all,
Persons who drove the robot today, do we think we need a button to drive over the bump? Kind of like "hey - lets go over the bump safely with out killing us or the robots around us" button.
Dad suggested having it or just like a mode to control how fast we go over the bump.
It kind reminds me of last year as then we were impeded by the slick surface, just this year its traveling in three dimensions.
So, ideas:
Bump Button:
One button press to drive over the bump.
I think this is a good idea, but doesn't provide enough user control.
Bump Speed Control
Using the accelerometer, whenever we're not level (i.e. going up a bump) the speed our robot can go is limited to how fast we can go up the bump safely. Bit more controlled as drivers still have full control, while having a sort of handicap to help them along. 'Course there would also be a disable button so you can drive it like you stole it.
Nothing
Eh, it doesn't matter. Drivers can do it by themselves.
Thoughts?
