Motor mounted kicker vid.

Post by Sunny »

So I know one of the earlier designs was a kicker that was mounted on a motor. With the recent arises in Mr. Smith's design and everyone being so busy, I think we've kinda forgotten that design.

The below video is of a team that used a similar method that we talked about with the motor and stuff.

This system gives us a more readily available system of controlling how hard the ball is hit.

Mounting on a motor pretty much meaning I have a big fast motor spinning a piece of metal 'round?

Depends what you want, but tensioning surgical is possible, just go see my other post.

I could not really see anything on the video about the mechanism.

Ah, yes. They say that they use a motor and a gearbox in the Chief Delphi thread: http://www.chiefdelphi.com/forums/showt ... adid=80434
