I found this thread interesting. Basically people arguing over whether a robot can be withheld as long as it is under 65 lbs.

Now Update 13 says you can bring a less-than-completed robot <65lbs as long as it is in >2 pieces.
*me thinks that is still unfair*
*cuts robot in half* "There, lets bring it in tomorrow."

Re: Withholding the Robot
Had we known about this update before we had crated and shipped, basically, we could have just shipped a basic fabricated frame and kept all the other 65 pounds worth of fabricated items and continued to work. Some teams have.
Re: Withholding the Robot
My idea was to basically gut the robot. Send everything except for the frame, wheels, and motors. So then we could've spent a decent day to work on getting a new set of guts on the t-bot.
I guess it really didn't pick up steam cause it was a "what we'd have to do on Thursday" vs. what we can do quickly on Thursday and hit the practice rounds hard.
