I might CAD it if the drivetrain stuff is good.

Sunny, the idea was to have a roller with tread or something on it that contacted the ball in 'more area' than just a simple verticle roller.

So,

I've been doing a little bit of reading and it seems that the teams who are using rollers are having success with using some sort of rubber-ish coatings.

I know we talked about using the roughtop tread, but now that I think about it, the roughtop will not grip the ball as well as a rubbery material will. Maybe we could take the white-color-shaft wheel things and maybe coat it with some sort of spray on or something.

Is spraying it legal? Why don't we find some smaller diameter unobtanium tubing, that should work.

I believe it is. And, I have no problem with another material/roller. I just feel that the roughtop will not be enough.

Yeah, definitely something with some grab. Kinda like those pencil rubber slips.
